The Real Me

“As usual, there is a great woman behind every idiot.” – John Lenon

I have written blogs on many people who are an inspiration to others but I never wrote about my biggest Inspiration. It’s when Blogadda along with Gillete Venus came with this competition; I have realized who my biggest inspiration is. I am really thankful to them for organizing such competition on women’s. I am really honored to write what defines me.

According to our forefathers, a woman is someone who keeps her family happy by sacrificing her own happiness, who gives up her dream to keep her husband happy, who leaves her job to nourish her children. A real woman sacrifices her life to keep others happy. Well, why should we woman allow our forefathers to define who we are? Every woman is different in her own way, so every woman has their own definitions.

“You are different,” I have always received this compliment from people whom I meet. It took me one week to write this blog on who I am actually and must say I really enjoyed discovering my definition.  I love movies and dialogues, so I’ll be defining myself in some dialogues.

“Aurat Ka dil aur samandar ki gehrai.. maapna asaan nai hota”(The heart of a woman and the deepness of the ocean.. is hard to be measured)

“Joh izzat, shradha, pyar ek beti de sakti hai … woh ek beta kabhi nahi de sakta”(The respect, faith, love a daughter can give.. a son can never give that)

“Aadmi ki zindagi ko swarg aurat banati hai” (A woman cam make a man’s life into heaven)

“Budhi ho ya jawaan … melodrama is duniya ki sari auraton ke khoon mein hota hai” ( Be it old or young, all the woman of this world have melodrama in their blood)

“Ladki toh hoti hi hai tyag ka zehar peene ke liye” (Girls are meant to drink the poison of sacrifice. P.S: I sacrifice only if the sacrifice is worth or makes me happy)

“A son is a son till he gets himself a wife … but a daughter is a daughter all her life”

“Mulgi Shikli Pragati zaali” (When you educate a girl, you educate her family)

Haha! I know these dialogues may sound filmy. But this is what defines me. I am always there for them who needs a genuine care. I guide people on the road to success. I help people to remove fear and replace it with confidence. I love my family and take care of them. I am my family’s respect and I am a daughter whom they are proud to show the world. I stand for right and I fight against wrong – not only for myself but for others too. I daydream about a perfect life. I have the power of convincing. I am bold, confident and all rounder. With time, I have learnt to take responsibilities and fulfill them. Being the General Secretary and monitor of class from my schooldays, I have gained Leadership qualities. I am jolly person who loves to make others happy (For a laughter on friends face, I can make my fun too). I love to participate in extracurricular activities. I don’t know dance and I am a bad singer but I love and do perform. Working with My favorite author Ravinder Singh is my dream. I want to see myself as a famous personality.  I love to write and talk. Managing events is what I do in college.  Anchoring is my hobby, writing is my passion. I love to pose for pictures. I had a heart break but still I live my life to the fullest. I am an ocean full of love and friendship. I am a candle that can light a room but if messed with me, I can burn anyone with my fire. I am short tempered, I sometimes do gossip like every girl. I am caring yet annoying sometimes.

With some bad qualities and more good qualities, I am Rekha Mishra J

As a woman I would sum up myself as:

Have a high Will Power

I am Optimistic all the time

I give Memories that can be cherished forever.

Get Attached to everyone easily.

I am Notorious yet Rocking

One Label is not enough to define anyone. All the woman out there #UseYourAnd and define yourself with multiple labels. J

This post is a part of #UseYourAnd activity at BlogAdda in association with Gillette Venus“.
