Today I went to donate blood and there was a small kid named Rohit. He had painted the pots and he was there to sell it.
After donating blood, I went to him and asked the price for this pot to which he told 10 Rs. and I purchased it.
I know this pot may not be special for you, For you it may not be painted properly, For you it may not be catchy or attractive. But for that kid it was special. It was a start. He was learning to be creative, he was learning to paint, he was learning to learn and he was doing hard work.
Even if he would have told 50 or 100 bucks, I would have purchased it to make him believe, “Creativity is always appreciated” and that would have made him learn more. I wanted to make him believe “to give your best”, “to dream big and follow it”.
Today’s world needs creativity and lets help those small kids to be creative by appreciating their efforts. 🙂
The smile on his face when I gave him 10 Rs. was worth a million dollar.
