Challenges keep you Motivated

“Yes. Challenge!” I said to myself looking in the mirror. I was determined to take up the challenge and prove myself.
Four years back, I challenged myself to lose weight and become fit. Initial days of challenge were too hard. Getting up early in the morning and then exercising for one hour was way too much. I was not used to it. But I decided not to give up. I decided to give my best. I decided I CAN, I WILL, I MUST DO IT. ย This Challenge brought a change in me. From one hour walking to one and half hour walking, thirty minutes exercise and 30 minutes of skipping in a day. And within two months, I had lost 10 kg. I was satisfied. I was happy. I got to know about my potential. And then after this challenge, I took up more and more challenges to become better day by day.
That’s the best thing about Challenges. Challenges are tough but they bring out the best in you. They help you in improving. They change your perception about you. Once you complete the challenge successfully, you become more confident about yourself. Like failure, Challenges are also the stepping stone of success. No great personality succeeded without challenging themselves. Successful people take a challenge, they work hard, they fail, they try again, and succeed. After success, they take up a new challenge and work on it. Challenge keeps you motivated. Challenges make you mentally strong.
Apart from Challenges you take, Life may also give you lots of challenges. Some challenges you might not want to take but life will force on you. Do not be scared of challenges that life throws on you. Be brave, take risks and do not give up because in every challenge lies an opportunity.
So take up challenges to discover your potential, to convert your weakness into strength. Challenges need not be big. Start with small and see the difference.
This month, I have taken #AtoZChallenge. Due to changing shifts in office, it hard for me to write every day but I took up this challenge to stop giving excuses and start doing. I have taken this challenge seriously and I will complete it for sure. Since I have become ‘fat’ once again I have taken #100daysofrunning challenge and #fitness challenge.
