“I quit,” was what she said and ended her life by cutting her wrist with a knife.
She quit but her mother cried every night thinking about her daughter, She quit but her father faced death every day, her sister doesn’t talk to anyone now. Her friends miss her because she is not with them anymore. Quitting for her was easy, but others suffered because of her.
“I quit,” was what he thought when he lost a race.
When his hard work was not giving him results, he thought to quit. His friend gave him a piece of paper on which it was written, “Winners never quit and quitters never win.” That quote inspired him and he decided to be a winner. He worked more hard, with every defeat he learnt and after six attempts, he came first in the race.
Quitting is absolutely easy, you just take a step backward and there you quit. Your all hard work goes in vain. You lose faith and confidence in yourself and you become a loser. I had training in IGATE for three months. Second month was full of torture, too much pressure. Projects, Assessment and preparation of L1. I was frustrated, I would get angry on every small things. I could not handle too much pressure and I decided to quit. I decided to go back to Mumbai. But somewhere, my heart would shout “Don’t quit”. I talked to my parents about it, I knew they had too much expectations from me. My mother said, “Just try. Don’t worry about results. If you clear, good for you. And if you don’t, you are always welcome home.” And I got my answer. “No matter what happens, I won’t quit. If I fail, its fine at least I didn’t quit like a loser.” I gave my L1 exam and cleared it with third rank.
We all face too many problems in life. Life is all about up’s and down. Things might not go according to you. Might be no one is there to understand you. You are too stressed. Financially, emotionally! Remember, Do Not Quit. Because, success might be the next step. Do Not Quit because you have come a long way and going back is not an option. Do Not Quit because I know you can do it. I trust you.
